The project supports the goal of the Government of Cameroon to eliminate mother to child transmission of HIV. The LLF investment will help establish a network of 55 Points of Care for HIV (PoC) for Early Infant Diagnosis (EID) and Mothers followup, decentralize the HIV test-treat-retain cascade from national to the district level, implement an innovative community-based approach for tracing noncompliance and the most vulnerable pregnant women, and enhancing the district health information and supply chain management systems.
