The project will benefit 25,000 households associated with rice farming through several integrated interventions, including access to efficient irrigation facilities, improved seed varities and enviornment-friendly fertilizers. Additionally the project will focus on upgrading and developing 50 km of rural access roads, promoting women-led activities and establishing par-boiling units. 10,000 jobs are expected to be created through the development ofagribusinesses along the value chain.
